Transport Providers on Whangarei Heads

There are many ways to get to the Whangarei Heads.

Transport to and from Whangarei

  • Air - Air NZ operate several services a day from Auckland and one from Wellington.
  • Bus -There are several bus companies that you can use from Auckland to Whangarei and these also go further north if you wish.
  • Hire Cars - These can be collected and returned from Auckland airport, or if you wish, Whangarei Airport. Hire cars are a good option in areas where there is little public transport.

Flutes Tours and Shuttle Service

Flutes Luxury Accommodation has a comfortable air conditioned vehicle which seats up to 8 passengers (including the driver), and is fully licensed to provide passenger transport services. We will provide tour and shuttle services for guests visiting the area, as well as for local residents. Services provided include airport shuttle to and from both Auckland and Whangarei airports, day trips to The Bay of Islands, Tutakaka (for Perfect Day and Dive Tutakaka trips), links to local walks, tours of the Whangarei District, Zion Wildlife Park etc etc. All enquiries are welcome!
